About the Artist

Artistic Journey

Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Salman Farooqi developed a passion for art at an early age. His formal training began at the National College of Arts in Lahore, where he honed his technical skills while developing his unique perspective on color theory and spatial composition. After completing his studies, Farooqi traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America, drawing inspiration from urban landscapes and architectural forms that would later influence his distinctive style.

Farooqi's artistic evolution has been marked by a continuous exploration of the relationship between structure and fluidity. His early works were characterized by more representational elements, gradually evolving toward the pure abstraction for which he is now renowned. This progression reflects his growing interest in creating emotional landscapes rather than literal interpretations of the physical world.

Today, Farooqi's work can be found in prestigious private and public collections worldwide. His paintings continue to evolve, with recent series exploring themes of connectivity, transformation, and the interplay between order and chaos. Through his vibrant geometric abstractions, he invites viewers to experience the intersection of memory, emotion, and physical space.
