About the Artist

Artistic Journey

Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Haroon Ahmed developed a passion for art at an early age, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of his homeland. His early works were deeply influenced by traditional miniature painting techniques, which he studied under master artists in Lahore.

As his practice evolved, Haroon began to incorporate contemporary elements and experimental media, pushing the boundaries of conventional Pakistani art. His work often explores themes of identity, heritage, and the tension between tradition and modernity in a rapidly changing world.

Over the past decade, Haroon has gained international recognition for his distinctive style that seamlessly blends cultural references with abstract expressions. His art has been exhibited in galleries across Pakistan, Dubai, London, and New York, earning critical acclaim for its emotional resonance and technical innovation.

Artist Statement

"My work exists at the intersection of tradition and innovation, exploring the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan through a contemporary lens. I see each piece as a conversation between past and present, using traditional techniques and symbols as a foundation for experimental approaches. Through layers of material, color, and texture, I seek to create visual experiences that connect viewers to both collective memory and personal emotion."
