Learn more about Abdul Jabbar's journey and artistic philosophy
Abdul Jabbar began his artistic journey at the age of 15 when he was apprenticed to Master Calligrapher Hasan Ali in the historic city of Lahore. Under his guidance, Abdul mastered the traditional scripts of Naskh, Thuluth, and Nastaliq, spending countless hours perfecting the rhythm and flow that characterizes exceptional Islamic calligraphy.
His work represents a bridge between the classical traditions of Islamic art and contemporary artistic expression. Each piece begins with extensive research into historical manuscripts and geometric patterns, which he then reinterprets through his own artistic vision while maintaining the spiritual essence of the original forms.
Today, Abdul's works are housed in private collections across Pakistan, the Middle East, and Europe. He continues to teach the traditional arts while pushing the boundaries of contemporary Islamic artistic expression.
